Kwabena Oduro

Bio

Kwabena was born raised in Montreal, but in 2013 he left the city and moved to the Ottawa-Gatineau area to play basketball at Heritage College. After deciding not to play professionally, his dream was also to be on TV and make people day and connect with them via storytelling. Kwabena decided to enroll in television broadcasting at Algonquin College. He got his first taste in the industry when interned at Rogers Sportsnet as a broadcast associate. Kwabena has also worked at TSN 1200 as a radio producer and Bell Media Ottawa in their promotions department. With radio under his belt, he continued to push to pursue his on-air skills. Kwabena left Bell Media to join Global News in Montreal as a photojournalist. In the future, Kwabena wants to further his career while continuing his passions in sports, news, storytelling and social media.
