Membership
CABJ membership is open to all Canadian-based Black journalists, content creators and media workers, as described in the categories below. Given the challenges facing many in light of COVID-19, our annual membership dues are now being offered at a lower monthly rate. We ask only that anyone signing up today stay on for a minimum of 12 months. Membership categories and eligibility requirements are listed below. More details on the benefits of CABJ membership are available in the Membership Handbook.
Our CABJ membership also offers members access to our three-week Media Startup Bootcamp (CMSB), a program that helps Black creators to bolster or start their own digital media publications, and CABJ Connects, our national network of Black media professionals where they can access employment opportunities.
