Kyah Sparks

Bio

Kyah Sparks has 9 years of experience in the industry. She was 17-years-old when she discovered her passion for radio and television arts. Kyah is a graduate of the NSCC Radio, Television, and Journalism program and has a major in broadcast journalism. As a student, Kyah was the host, DJ, segment producer, and tech for a radio show on CKDU called Hip Hop Hali. Her love for Hip Hop culture landed her interviews with the biggest names in Hip Hop such as Drake and Director X. Kyah loves to be on the scene of events and loves to interview people from all walks of life. In 2016 Kyah became a reporter for CBC News NS where she told a range of stories and strengthened her skills as a compassionate storyteller. A year later, Kyah was a host and producer for Eastlink Community TV. She was a presenter, live production host, emcee, camera operator, editor, and segment producer. In 2019 Kyah was nominated by arts Nova Scotia for Media Professional of the year and she’s now searching for new opportunities to share her love for fashion, arts, culture, events, and lifestyle as a segment producer.
