Victor Kwawukume

I was born and bred in Tema, in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. I am currently domiciled in Toronto, Canada. I attended Aggrey Road Number 1 Junior High School, then to the Tema Methodist Day Senior High School. I continued to the Ghana Institute of Journalism where I graduated from in 1999 as the Overall Best Student in the Journalism Class in addition to taking two other awards as Best Student in English Language and Political Reporting. Worked as the Volta Regional Correspondent of the Daily Graphic for 11 years. Transferred to the head office. Covered then Candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during the 2016 elections. When he won, I became the Presidential Correspondent for the Daily Graphic. Returned to the newsroom as deputy to the Political Editor and then resigned from Graphic Communications Group in October 2019. I have won two awards of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA). I am committed to relationships and partnerships. I am academically flirtatious, politically independent and religiously charismatic.
