Sandra Hannebohm

Bio

Sandra is a multi-platform journalist specializing in audio and video production, editorial leadership, marketing, investigative research and narrative storytelling. She's educated in political science and french as well as narrative and reporting, having graduated from King's College with the Evanov Radio Group Award for excellence in broadcast journalism. As a freelancer she wrote for CBC, Halifax Magazine and the Black Business Institute magazine, among others. She also worked as a reporter on the housing beat at The Coast for over a year, covering social welfare and poverty, Airbnb, disability rights and activism. In the past she wrote and produced podcasts for an educational non-profit and produced a feature-length video documentary for an independent new media venture. She now works for Lion's Roar magazine where she writes, produces online courses, and hosts the Lion's Roar podcast.
