Afua Mfodwo

Afua Mfodwo is a freelance multimedia journalist based in Toronto, Ontario. Through her work, she has interviewed people shaping the arts and culture scenes in their communities, using this as an opportunity to document these spaces and how they might look in the future.

In addition to writing, she loves producing audio journalism and taking pictures. Growing up in Johannesburg and Accra, a lot of her interests and inspiration has come from living in these two vibrant cities.

Living in Toronto for the past 3 years, the city's arts and culture spaces and people who contribute to them also play a huge role in her work and interests. Her passion for photography and design have led her to experiment with the creative direction of projects she has been involved in this year.
