Sherri Borden Colley

Bio

Sherri Borden Colley has been a reporter in Halifax, Nova Scotia for 25 years. Sherri is the 2020 recipient of an honorary Doctor of Civil Law degree from the University of King's College in Halifax for her "commitment to reporting excellence and to write about issues involving justice, race, culture and human rights." Sherri was also the founding President of the Black Journalists Association of Nova Scotia (BJANS), which ran from 1997-1999.
