Moses Chibaya

I am passionate about Communications, Media, Public Relations and Digital Media. I enjoy breaking news, speaking truth to power through opinion articles, storytelling and using social media. I also enjoy using key messages to make sure the most important information is being shared, put a human face to disasters and emergencies, capture lessons learnt to inform future emergency response operations at the same time telling the success story or stories of change as a result of interventions. Over the past 12 years I have had a chance to work with several organisations learning from mentors and also sharing my passion scaling up growth on media coverage and social media platforms for a number of organisations which include Red Cross Canada, After Breast Cancer (Canada), Foster A Child To Excel (F.A.C.E.S, Canada), Elections Resource Centre (ERC, Zimbabwe) and 263Chat Zimbabwe. My former co-workers would describe me as a dynamic, motivated and hardworking colleague, who is always ready to get involved. As for the journalists that I interacted with they would say I have a real understanding of news gathering and deadlines as well as an ability to adopt to their realities.
